About me
My name is Charles Blouin-Gascon and I come from humble beginnings. As corny as this might sound, I have a dream of making a living as a writer. Sue me.
I currently live in Toronto after having spent 23 years in French Montréal, but please don’t hold it against me. During that time, I completed a bachelor of psychology at Université de Montréal, after which I applied for the PhD program in that same field. Why? Ask yourself if you know any psychologists with just a B. Sc.
That application process was quite humbling as I faced probably more rejections than during my whole Grade 11. (Ha!)
Firmly established in Toronto, I now study journalism at the renowned Ryerson School of Journalism and even learned to speak English somewhat. In my spare time, you might catch me obsessing over the New England Patriots or The Wire. Or both.
But I miss poutine. Very dearly.
Good luck with you education and TO. Were all Canadians a great country! Keep working hard, don’t smoke and kick the poutine…that stuff will kill you!
Obsessing over The Wire
Always. Not a day goes by…
